Coastal Healing is committed to assisting those with a verified financial hardship (VFH) i.e. patients on Mass Health, receiving Supplemental Security Income or patients with income below 300% of the federal poverty level (FPL) adjusted for family size. The Financial Hardship Application will be available to any patient upon request and all applicants receiving financial assistance must meet the eligibility criteria (e.g. valid registration card, valid identification and income verification).

Coastal Healing plans to provide reduced cost medicine to patients with a VFH based on the following income levels:

• <100% FPL patients qualify for a 30% discount up to 1 ounce per month
• 100-200% FPL patients qualify for 25% discount up to 1 ounce per month
• 200-300% FPL patients qualify for 15% discount up to 1 ounce per month

You may apply for this program annually. You will need to submit your tax return for the preceding year, a copy of your State Medical Marijuana Card, your families’ total annual income from all sources and the number of people living in your household. Evidence of providing false or misleading information will automatically terminate you from the program permanently.
